So I have made a few changes this year but most things are staying course. Here is our tentative plan.
Family Morning Time or Afternoon time (during winter months)
Here is the schedule on what we cover each morning planning one hour each morning/afternoon. If weather is nice we go outside and work for about an hour on the following while my 4 yr. old plays outside. Works out well! The Bible reading is to be done prior to meeting and we just discuss it. Hymns are one every 6 wks., poets, composers, Shakespeare, and artists are every 12 weeks. Did not list all the books in each grade list but you can see what we use on the chart.:

Taking a more relaxed approach and trying to let him be a kid. :) We are only planning on about 30 min. of actual "work" where we are sitting at the table. Not counting reading. It will be broken up but are mostly working on some math, phonics, and writing. The rest of the day he will play and is able to hang out with brothers during morning group time. Reading will happen throughout the day morning, lunch, rest time, before bedtime. Music, art, and Spanish are incorporated through out the day but not "officially" taught. The lists always seem more hefty then they really are.
Bible- Golden Children's Bible reading through and working through AWANA
Phonics- The Ordinary Parent's Guide to Reading (he is already reading so we are starting with special sounds and continuing on from there. Readers: Bob Books, Primary Phonics, some of Memoria Press K and Hooked on Phonics readers cause I had them. :) Also working on Reading Eggs online
Writing - Just a few times a week working on writing letters correctly
Math - After much deliberation we are going to try Singapore. Starting at 1A he is passed the kindergarten books so we plan on going slow. Also working on CTC online and mainly focusing on math games! Here is a great site:
